Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her role as the protagonist in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Alongside her television performances, she has had movie roles like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". Her parents were a therapist and an ice cream store manager, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the entertainment field. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in 1990, she was accepted to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated in the BA program in comparative arts. In the age of twelve, she began her acting career with one of the productions of the Christmas musical "Amahl And The Night Visitor". After performing on stage and in film, she got parts in small-screen as well as large-screen productions. McCormack is now one of the most flexible Hollywood actors. In her marriage to producer and director Michael Morris, she has three children.
