Teryl Rothery is an actress from Canada. She has been seen on stage, television as well as in films. Janet Fraiser is her most famous character on Stargate SG-1. She also starred as Grace Sherman in Cedar Cove and has played major parts as Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring in Arrow and Celia Hudson in Nancy Drew. Numerous TV films have featured her. Rothery began dance lessons at age nine, and in 1995 looked upon her first dance lessons as the beginning of her career as an entertainer. [2] Her first professional performances as a performer were in Bye Bye Birdie in her 13th year[3] and The Sound of Music in Marpole Community Theatre at age 14. When she was a child she performed dance on The Irish Rovers variety television series. At age 18, she first appeared on television with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television special for Halloween.
